Eagle Health Shines a Star on a Stellar Employee

PRESS RELEASE | HEATHER KAISER | FEBRUARY 23, 2021

On January 20, 2021, Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation subsidiary, spotlighted an excellent employee, Kathy Brooks.  Kathy has worked for Eagle Health for over two years as an Accounting Analyst – Senior with the Defense Health Agency (DHA).  She was presented the Cape Fox Tinaa Award because of her exemplary job accomplishments.  She investigated items outside of her primary role and served an instrumental role in recovering monies from incorrect invoices.

Though Kathy has only been with Eagle Health for over two years, she started working with DHA nine years ago as an Accounting Analyst and advanced to Senior Accounting Analyst. Kathy has had many advanced learning opportunities within her role and has had an opportunity to learn about contracting and budget.  Kathy is always willing to take on additional responsibilities such as training new employees.  She has also worked testing for UAT, Splash, and IRAPT/WAWF.  During her time, she was responsible for the Treasury Report on Receivables (TROR) and Debt Collection Activities. While performing her normal accounting duties, Kathy recently discovered some discrepancies in the invoices and paid billables.  As a result of her discovery, the Government was able to recuperate a substantial amount of money and incorporate control measures to catch similar errors.

Eagle Health is proud to have such a valuable employee on our team.  She is a true asset for her diligence, hard work, and professionalism.  Thank you, Kathy, for such a great job well done.
