In May 2022, NAVAR, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, was awarded a contract with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The FTA is a new customer for NAVAR. Throughout the contract period, NAVAR will provide event planning and management for FTA’s Office of Communications and Congressional Affairs (TCA) with multiple events. NAVAR has long stood out in the creative services they provide, often excelling in the logistical details required for program success.
The FTA is an agency within the Department of Transportation (DoT) that provides financial and technical assistance to local public transit systems, including buses, subways, light rail, commuter rail, trolleys, and ferries. FTA also oversees safety measures and helps develop next-generation technology research. FTA’s TCA office is the agency’s lead office for media relations, public affairs, and Congressional relations, providing quick response support to the agency, the public, and Members of Congress daily. The office distributes information about FTA programs and policies to the public, the transit industry, and other interested parties through various media.
NAVAR will provide event management planning and logistics for FTA’s TCA office and the many events they host throughout the year to bring information and awareness to transportation policies, procedures, and programs.
