Eagle Health Employee Sets a Record Pace and Shines for Her Work

PRESS RELEASE | HEATHER KAISER | MAY 16, 2023

Eagle Health, LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, recognizes Olivia Sage for her drive, commitment, and dedication to the mission of the contract. Olivia supports the Global Health Bureau (GHB) Team on Eagle Health’s United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Institutional Support contract. Olivia’s excellence has shown from the start, and Eagle Health and the customer took notice of her achievements and talents. As a result, Eagle Health proudly presents Olivia with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude. The praise extended to Olivia has shown her ability to produce positive results, be diligent, and remain adaptable to rising needs.

While Olivia comes with an exceptional resume of experience working with USAID, she is a new addition to the Eagle Health team, starting in January 2023, and she has been a shining example right from the start. Olivia is the External Partner/Donor Coordinator for the USAID Global Health (GH) Bureau. Her daily tasks include supporting the GHB Team, leading the coordination and implementation of USAID’s global health-related technical engagement on COVID-19, including such tasks as strategy and policy development, intra- and interagency coordination, and external engagement and communication with existing Global Health technical leadership functions.

The Contract Officer’s Representative (COR) took instant notice of Olivia’s commitment and efforts to go above and beyond to support USAID’s Bureau of Global Health by commenting, “Even though this is a short-term arrangement, we’d really like to make sure that Olivia’s commitment to going above and beyond is recognized to the full extent.”  Some of the tasks noticed by the COR include:

  • In February 2023, Olivia accepted the challenge of extending her Front Office (FO) support directly to AA Atul Gawande while balancing CRT responsibilities. Olivia has been supporting Atul in a temporary, part-time capacity.
  • Even as she splits her time, Olivia has been recognized as a trusted member of Atul’s core team. Atul himself is impressed with the quality of Olivia’s work and ability to keep up with the incredibly fast-paced, demanding nature of the FO.
  • As Olivia helps to alleviate the burden of a priority vacancy, she’s taken on advanced duties beyond her current level, and she’s proven to be more than capable.
  • Finally, several members of the GH leadership team have commented on what a pleasure it is to work with Olivia in her extended capacity. Her ability to seamlessly integrate into FO operations is truly remarkable.

These are remarkable accolades for Olivia, which are well deserved. She has been a bright light on the work being done with USAID, and Eagle Health is proud to have her on our team. She truly is an asset. Olivia enjoys many hobbies outside of work, such as hiking, sewing, baking, and running. In the past, she has run the Boston Marathon, and she is currently training for the September 2023 Berlin Marathon. Olivia is a winner in our eyes already. Thank you, Olivia!
