On November 1, 2019, Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) employee, Taylor Robinson, was recognized with a 2019 eCatalyst award. The eCatalyst award is the Cape Fox Corporation employee recognition program for employees of the corporation and its subsidiaries such as Eagle Health, which first began in April 2018. Employees who receive the eCatalyst award have gone above and beyond their duties to perform outstanding work and contribute as an excellent CFFS team member. Taylor Robinson is a Librarian and Researcher for Rocky Mountain Laboratory and was recognized for her exceptional contribution to the Rocky Mountain Laboratory community. She took on many additional duties and responsibilities in addition to fulfilling her daily obligations. The award was presented to Taylor by Jeff Mark, CFFS Program Manager, and accompanied by Josh Kellar, Associate Director of Operations and Maintenance (OOM).
Taylor recently said, “I love working at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories Library because I am constantly learning something new, and each day is a little bit different. The job is a perfect fit for me as I received my undergraduate degree in Biology, and my master’s degree is in Library and Information Sciences. I have over twelve years of experience working in libraries, either in the public, academic, or medical library setting. As the RML Library Director, I am most proud of the programming I have created on campus, such as the Outdoor Recreation Collection, the community garden, the fitness challenges, and the yoga classes. When I am not in the library, I enjoy recreating outside in a variety of ways, my dogs, reading, and cooking.”
The definition of the eCatalyst awardee is “an employee that increases the value of their workplace, is the stimulus for continued growth, and adds additional worth and benefit to those around them while maintaining strong standards.” Taylor has done just that. Taylor serves as Club RML Treasurer, which means she manages gym memberships and supplies, organizes programs such as the Yellow Bike Program, and manages social media, among other functions. Taylor also helps RML Public Affairs pass our promotional flyers, and she leads the RML Book Club group discussions.
