CFFI Spotlights an Employee Whose Talent and Drive Lead to Success

Cape Fox Federal Integrators (CFFI), LLC, a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) subsidiary, recognizes Michael “Mike” Bishop. Mike is recognized for his stability, dedication, strong influence, and willingness to exceed expectations by providing the highest quality support to the customer and his colleagues. As a result, in September, Mike was nominated for a Tinaa Award by his Program Manager Jon Jones for Employee Excellence. This award is presented to employees who stand out for their dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and attitude. Mike’s steadfastness, expertise, and attitude make him shine. He is an asset to the CFFI team and Cape Fox.

Mike is a Site Lead and Senior Network Support Specialist on the U.S. Air Force LO ISR Mission Planners & Enterprise Support contract working at the Creech Air Force Base in Nevada. As the Site Lead, Mike is responsible for the general administration of 46 full-time employees.   He is also the Senior Network Support Specialist and provides daily network and security activities for the Low Observable (LO) Airborne, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise. Mike also supports operations to provide mission connectivity between multiple locations, including Forward Operating Locations (FOLs), Air and Space Operations Centers (AOC), CONUS locations, and higher headquarters. Mike provides support for building, installing, testing, and maintaining communications network software and hardware infrastructure for all systems required for operation within all locations. Mike supports Communications Security (COMSEC) program management and assists with monitoring the state of health program security.

Mike’s many activities do not adequately highlight the critical role he has on the team. Mike stood out by ensuring CFFI retained 100% of the incumbent staff at contract initiation. And his strong relationships with the military leadership and the employees made for a smooth contract transition. Mike has grown and strengthened the team at CFFI. Mike has also built a strong relationship with the customer and they rely on him. Mike is often a stabilizing force for the customer and his entire team because of his patience and perseverance to the mission of the contract.
