As Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) adapted to a changing environment last year, one of the primary goals was to ensure that our IT Services could perform effectively and efficiently. Supporting employees remotely and in-person through help desk capabilities is a significant function for the Cape Fox IT Services Team. Throughout the year, there has been a shining star on the team. Though he started with Cape Fox Shared Services in January 2021, Miguel Gomez has shone brightly as a Cape Fox star employee. On July 16, 2021, he was awarded a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. Miguel was presented with this award for his calm demeanor when dealing with complex issues and always going the extra mile. Great job, Miguel!
Many at Cape Fox know Miguel well as he is the Desktop Support Tier II Technician who serves as the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance. Miguel recently stood out while providing assistance to the SaxmanOne Conference Planning Team, who said, “as planners who typically work with tight turnarounds due to government clients, expediency is of the utmost importance. We are incredibly thankful to the IT department that we have here at CapeFox, in particular Miguel. He emits a genuine and calm energy that lets you know that your issue is his issue and that he will get to the bottom of it. Always patient, pleasant, and willing to help with whatever we need, we are so appreciative of Miguel. His professionalism, prompt action, and positive attitude are unmatched.”
The Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence is presented to those employees who stand out for their dedication and attitude, and Miguel exemplifies these ideas. He is a dedicated team player, and we are delighted to give him this recognition. When Miguel is not working, he loves to unwind at the park or by visiting family.
