Cape Fox Mountain Point Awarded Contract to Support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tinker AFB

PRESS RELEASE | HEATHER KAISER | APRIL 15, 2022

In March 2022, Cape Fox Mountain Point (CFMP) was awarded a contract with the Tulsa, Oklahoma District United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Mountain Point will provide work to fully design and replace the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system currently servicing the administrative areas of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Building 506 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Though CFMP is one of Cape Fox’s newest federal contracting subsidiaries, it has become a premier contractor for military and government agencies in providing construction services because CFMP consistently provides high quality work, superior customer service, innovation, and reliability.

Cape Fox FCG has been performing on federal contracts for almost twenty years. Our first contracts, dating to 2003, supported construction and facilities services for the US Government. CFMP was formed in 2021 to utilize that shared experience and knowledge. At Tinker Air Force Base, CFMP will be replacing air handlers, chillers, duct, controls, and adding a dedicated outside air unit to the roof of the building, which will be delivered in place on the building via helicopter. The DLA Building 506 at Tinker Air Force Base is a combat support logistics building that focuses on shipment of defense related equipment worldwide. Mountain Point is delighted to be providing exceptional construction services for the first time to the Tulsa District USACE.
