An Alaska Native Corporation

Alaska Native Corporations (ANC) have the primary responsibility to promote economic development within their communities.

Congress gave ANCs unique rights in the Federal procurement process, which are now codified under the US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). These rights provide Federal Agencies and Federal Contractors with strong incentives to contract with ANC firms. These benefits include the ability to sole source contract awards to 8(a) firms, remove the risk of delay due to protest, and minimize solicitation timeframes. Cape Fox Corporation unites several Federal contracting subsidiaries to provide exceptional service in healthcare, information technology, emerging technologies, professional, and logistics support.

1971

The Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANSCA) was passed and signed into law by then-President Richard Nixon in 1971. The Act established 12 regional corporations and 220 village corporations and allotted 40 million acres of land among them. Cape Fox Corporation is the Alaska Native Corporation for the Natives of the Village of Saxman in Ketchikan, Alaska.
